Again, we see the genius of George Harrison with his second song in our countdown this month. I wonder, at times, whether it took this long for Harrison to write this well or whether the Beatles took this long to evolve to a place where they were able to record George’s music? In The Beatles version, they introduce a fairly handy guitarist to play lead – Eric Clapton of all people!

To give some idea of the calibre of the song, both Clapton and Carlos Santana have had a crack at it and released the song on their albums – that must say something, mustn’t it?
