My first Elvis album didn’t arrive until 1977 – the iconic Elvis In Concert album. The album was recorded in June 1977 with concerts in Omaha and Rapid City.

This song was on side 4 on the 2-LP set and followed on from Little Sister – a song that will pop up later in the Countdown. Early Morning Rain became one of my favourites on the album and help make side 4 my favourite side to listen to when the opportunity arose.
