“She walked through the corn, leading down to the river, her hair shone like gold in the hot morning sun.”

One of those sets of lyrics that just evokes an image – you can actually imagine her walking in the corn field, can’t you? Great lyrics by Tony Hazzard who wrote one or two others for Manfred Mann and a great catchy tune that, in my mind is the best that Manfred Mann ever released.

A great song, most worthy of inclusion in the top 30 of the 1960’s.
